sorry

It’s been said in spectacular fashion by our nation’s leaders since my last post, and now I must say it on my own behalf:

Sorry.

For not posting for almost 3 weeks! Terrible.

The rigours of shooting in every spare moment and working to day job deadlines in every other spare moment have taken their toll on my blogging!

The good news is that there will be a whole heap of stories and photos appearing here over the next few days.

Meanwhile, on a more serious note, I’d like to take a moment to add my own “sorry” to that offered in Parliament on February 13. Though I wasn’t personally responsible for what happened to the Stolen Generations over so many years, I am part of the nation that was responsible, and in that sense I truly am sorry. I hope that saying “sorry” will be the beginning of much better things for all Australians.

emerging

A-I-PP. Sung to the tune of YMCA, it actually sounds like fun!

The AIPP, or Australian Institute of Professional Photography, is a great organisation for professional photographers to join. Aside from all the cool benefits, it’s achieved a lot for photographers over the years, so it makes perfect sense to get involved.

So, I’m signing up as an Emerging Member!

As an added bonus, I now have no choice but to behave ethically … I’ve signed an declaration that says I will!

Because, you know, I was so unethical until now ;)
