Ok, so there’s more to Rachel and David than their love for golf, but David’s a PGA executive, and they spend most of their weekends together on the Avondale golf course, so you’d be forgiven for thinking otherwise
I’ll leave you to guess where they had their engagement session.
Hint: the wedding reception will be happening at the same place!
Don’t forget to leave a comment for David and Rachel. They’re getting married on Saturday!

Jane and Gordon might live in Balmain, but there was nothing metropolitan about their wedding day! Instead, they chose to tie the knot in the beautiful Hunter Valley, and it’s not hard to see why
Amusingly, both the bride and the maid of honour shared the same name, and I was working with an assistant named Luke … yay for keeping things simple!
Anyway, I’ll leave you with the photos, and my heartfelt thanks to Gordon and Jane … it was a privilege to share so much of your long-awaited wedding day with you.

Alright, so I’m a slack blogger. I’m sorry. I’m starting to catch up on everything after the Great Computer Crash of 2009, but the to-do list is still pretty long
In happier news, I’ve given notice to my day job boss, so it won’t be long and OFD will be getting the full-time it deserves! Yay!
Meanwhile, allow me to re-introduce Cerin and Dave, whose constant laughter was all but impervious to a record-breakingly-hot wedding day in Sydney! (No wonder they moved to Tasmania
)
I’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story, but thanks for letting us follow you around on your wedding day, guys! Thanks also to Michelle for assisting me, and to everyone else who helped make the heat more bearable

Steve and I go way back.
Among other things, we attended each other’s 12th birthday parties, nerded it up as fellow homeschoolers, and talked about girls. A lot.
But that was then. This is now!
It’s such a privilege to be shooting Steve and Skye’s wedding this Saturday! They met through Steve’s sister and as far I can tell, they’re a match made in heaven. No, really
Steve recently decided to pursue overseas mission work as a pilot with New Tribes Mission. It’s a pretty big deal to commit to that sort of thing, and even bigger to ask your future wife to do the same! Obviously, she’s cool with it
I can’t wait to see what’s next for these guys!
Anyway, here are some photos from their e-session. Mishaps included me botching the starting time, Steve and Skye getting soaked by a wave, and me falling spectacularly on some slippery rocks. Camera: all good. Elbow: still recovering
Enjoy!
