Wow. What a huge weekend! Among other things, I photographed the Southern Highlands wedding of these beautiful people:

Their wedding photos will follow soon
P.S. in case you were wondering, these were all taken at Coogee Beach
If you move in the right circles, you’ve probably already heard about the Warners Bay Girl Guides 2009 Pre-Christmas Shopping Show. It’s a fundraiser to help with the upkeep of the Girl Guides Hall at Warners Bay. They’re billing it as “Christmas shopping for the whole family”, and we were invited to sponsor the event by turning up and selling stuff. It seemed like a no-brainer to me!
So, if you live in Newcastle and aren’t otherwise occupied on Sunday, feel free to drop in on our stall anytime between 10am and 4pm! There will be more than a dozen businesses there, all selling different goodies that would make great gifts for Christmas, and by supporting them, you’ll be supporting the Girl Guides
Here are the details:
Date: Sunday 25 October 2009
Time: 10am to 4pm
Place: Girl Guides Hall, Lamington Drive, Warners Bay
Oh, and just so you know, we’ll be running a special on portrait sessions, and there might also be something nice from us in the raffle
Between parenthood, moving into our new studio (photos soon!), running the business without Michelle, shooting lots of weddings and portraits, and trying to keep up with post production, it’s been hard to find time to blog lately
Thanks for your patience … I promise it’ll be ramping up from here!
To kick off this season’s weddings, allow me to introduce Lynnise and Ryan. They got married at the same place Michelle and I had our reception, which was a very cool coincidence! (Another coincidence was that Ryan’s grandfather used to be our next door neighbour, when we lived in Georgetown! Small world!)
Enjoy the photos
UPDATE: Lynnise and Ryan’s slideshow is now up … see below for the link
Ceremony and reception: The Glades, Warners Bay
Celebrant: Katie Porritt
Makeup: Kylie Edwards
Cars: Silver Classic Limousines
