This hil.AR.ious couple are getting married tomorrow!

We did their engagement session at Shelly Beach, near Manly. It started raining soon after we arrived, and didn’t stop. We had fun anyway. Enjoy, and check back soon for their wedding photos!

Working with a fashion designer who lives and works in Milan (you know, in Italy) is right up there with photographing a photographer: it’s an honour, but your legs can get a little wobbly.

Gabi grew up near Newcastle, but study took her to Milan. That’s where she met Ema, started her fashion consultancy, and learned to speak Italian!

In a couple of months, Gabi and Ema will be getting married. Here are their engagement photos, taken around Honeysuckle and Civic during a fleeting visit to Newcastle. They’ll be here for a little longer in December!

He’s English, she’s Aussie.

He writes software, she’s a graphic artist and photographer.

They met when they were both working at a crash test facility in England. Neither of them ever saw a test crash.

Now they live in Australia, and tomorrow they’re getting married in Kempsey!

If you follow me on Twitter, you’ve probably picked up that I have a keen interest in politics. So do these two … Suzanne has even worked as a state government advisor! (Yes, I’m completely jealous.)

Anyway, between political chit-chat, we did manage to take a few photos while Suzanne and Scott were in Newcastle recently (they live in Sydney and are getting married in Mudgee this weekend).

I’ve heard it said that photographing a photographer is an honour and a privilege.

What they fail to mention is that it’s also freaking scary!

Amanda is a Central Coast wedding photographer, so it was with some trepidation that I drove down to Terrigal for this engagement session. Of course I didn’t need to worry … the only problem was boring Peter with too much shop talk!

Sooner or later, all of the silly little jobs that fill up my days will be delegated to other people.

Anyway, allow me introduce the soon-to-be-married Jess and Dan. They had their engagement session at Civic Park (where Dan proposed). It was full of win. And laughter!

I caught up with Lisa and Steve for their engagement session late last year. They decided to have it at Luna Park, which was an AWESOME idea, except for the fact that it was a sunny December day and the rest of Sydney was there too! So, we got a few shots around Luna Park, then wandered around the Harbour Bridge until sundown

I can’t wait to photograph Lisa and Steve’s wedding in a couple of weeks! It’s going to be at Sylvan Glen. I love Sylvan Glen

Photographing friends is strangely nerve-wracking. I have no idea why. If you have any theories, please let me know!

Anyway, we know Adam and Alice through church, and they’re getting married tomorrow! They both know heaps of people from multiple cities, so it’s going to be huge. Can’t wait!
